You can have perfect hair in 2 minutes or less with the southern tease bun.
What Is The Souther Tease Bun?
The southern tease bun is a protective hairstyle that I have been doing since my relaxed hair days. I first learned of it on a hair forum. It’s an awesome hairstyle that can help you look put together without much effort. I usually don’t have much time to spare in the mornings before heading to work. I like that it’s quick and easy and works on any hair type and texture. I’ve been able to keep with this hairstyle even as my hair has transitioned from relaxed to almost natural.
I like using croco clips to hold my hair. These clips provide good hold and it alleviates the need to load my hair up with hair pins.
Hair Products Used
You can use any products that your hair likes most. I chose to use Annabelle’s Perfect Blends Hair Creme to moisturize my hair, Carol’s Daughter Split End Sealer to pamper my ends and My Honey Child Type 4 Hair Creme as my butter based sealer.
Because this video was for demonstration purposes only, I didn’t bother with taming my edges. However, I’m really trying to scale back on the amount of product I use on my edges because the stylist noticed my edges were dry from overuse of styling gels on my recent salon visit. I’m now using hair butters when and where possible vs. styling gel.
Southern Tease Bun is Perfect for Any Occasion
You can dress it up with any hair accessory of choice. Croco clips are the clips that hold my hair best when wearing this particular hairstyle. Here are a few photos of me wearing this style on previous occasions.
